BABY TALK

Heard this? Researchers discovered that babies cry with the same "prosody" or melody used in their native language by the second day of life. They did this by recording the cries of 60 babies born to French or German parents.

French newborns in the study ended their cries with a lilt at the end typically heard in French. German babies, however, started their cries intensely and dropped off at the end -- much like the emphasis their German parents put in a sentence. OMG MOMENT. Your Yorel doesn't normally watch the news on TV, but it's on right now. A story about how Wall St. is getting H1N1 vaccines before others? Oh, pleeeze. And the local news showed a mother in line to get the shot saying she "doesn't want to die." What a whack-out scare.

Professional race-baiters and leftist commentators have for several days now attributed this quote, and other lies, to Rush Limbaugh. All the hub-bub has lead to him being booted out as a minority partner in an attempt to purchase the NFL franchise, the St. Louis Rams.

You see, the problem is that all the mud slingers cannot source the quote. It's a fabrication. Now some legal beagles believe Limbaugh has grounds for a libel suit. What happened here is pretty transparent. Even the Wall Street Jounal has a bead on the truth.

Compare that to what Elder Dallin H. Oaks, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said in an address at BYU-I (incidentially, where Yorel1 and Yorel4 are attending, and from where Yorel3 is an alum). Elder Oaks, previous to his call to the apostleship, had served as a justice on the Utah Supreme Court, was a professor at the University of Chicago Law School and Brigham Young University’s J. So what's up with Harry Reid? He's desperate. His reelection hopes look pretty bleak, and he knows there are a lot of LDS voters his state that have had just about enough of him. He is really down in local polls. It would appear he is pandering to the left's constituency, among which in the patchwork quilt of liberalism, resides the gay agenda. Apparently he's banking on their money now, not the people of Nevada, or even people of his own faith.

Your Yorel is one guy who has already gladly decided to send a few bucks to whoever runs against majority leader Harry Reid. Your Yorel has had enough of him, too. It's sad to see someone sell their birthright for a mess of pottage.
